My family owned all three and all provided excellent service and memories. I would be hard pressed to say one was better so pick a tie here. Great cars!
This one was easy. 1) '55 2) '56 3) '57 in that order.
The '55 laid the groundwork for what I consider the breakthrough Chevy of the 1950s.

The '55 is my favorite car of its class for that decade. The '56 is a strong second and edges the '57 by a nose. I LOVE them all. I owned a '56 and a '57 as a young man.
This was simple for me the 55, followed by the 56 and then the 57.

Same here.

Another vote for the 55,56,57.
Love the '55, like '57, Don't care for the '56. The Ideal Chevy for this period for me would be a '57 front clip and dash/interior on the '55 body & chassis, all Chevy, all same period just the best of the period put together. Save a garage bay.
I like doing this, bolt on changes to make a personalized car yet from the manufacturer.
1967 Charnet - '67 Coronet 500/R/T convertible with '66 Charger front clip & dash & total interior
1968-70 Charger - '68 Charger with complete '70 SE interior & drive train[440x6, 4 speed, Dana sure grip
1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner with '64 Ford Galaxie XL 500 complete Dash & interior and '64 drive train [427x8, 4 speed, limited slip
1971 Dart GT with '70 Challenger T/A/Cuda AAR drive train [340x6, 4 speed, dana sure grip
With these 5 cars in my garage [the one I would have to build] I would, virtually, have 10 of Detroit's best. Now to win a large lottery!
