Not particularly interesting Fords to me John, nothing especially bad, just not vehicles I would choose to own. A tie for me.

'71 please, I have always preferred cars with the grill across the entire front and the head lights in the grill.

+1    I agree Bruce; the '72 nose looks chunky by comparison IMHO.  I expect that it will win this comparison though as I recall that many Forum members have commented how much it appeals to them in the past couple of years.

I'm for the 72.  Body style reminds me a lot of the later model Javelins.

I'm not a huge fan of this era Ford but both of these are nice looking. I voted 72 because I do like the grille. The wider grille is more affable while the center grille seems, to me at least, more aggressive. I also prefer the rear side windows streamlining to a taper rather than squared off.

Tough choice but I agree with Tony.

Not crazy about either but prefer the 71 by a slight margin.

I like them both enough to vote a TIE.  The roofline styling is easier on my eyes with the '71, but the grill on the '72 grabs my fancy.  Yup, a TIE!

The 1972 blows its predecessor out of the water IMO. Big win for it.

As a Ford guy I can't pick one over the other so I voted tie.
