The sixty-two was nice but I fell in love with the 63 & 64 model years. My vote: 63 John!
1963 for me too. Better looking and one year improved.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I voted 62. More memorable to me from back in the day. 😎

I love the '61 to '63 Galaxies, this is the hardest poll yet. Today it would be a tie for me but in the past I preferred the '63 so I'll vote the '63 for the sake of the poll. I owned a '61 and a '62, my fiancee drove my '62 complete through a utility poll.
The
'61 Is dark blue hardtop and the dresser one and the pic is my actual car, the '62 is a stripped down 2 dr sd the closest to mine I could find only mine was very light blue
Close call here. Currently a lean towards 1963 but I do like those 1962 tail lights.
I like both cars very much (was there a bad looking Ford in the 60s?...not for me) but prefer the more aggressive looking styling of the '63. The grille, tail end and trim are better looking than in '62.
It's rare when I'll vote TIE. This is one of those rare times. I personally thought the '62 and '63 Ford's were the two best looking from a styling perspective for the Sixties.
For me it broke down like this:
The '60 was nice, but only if it was the high-end model, but as a low-end version, it couldn't have gotten more bland and boring.
The '61 was really a disappointment for me as a 10 year old kid. It didn't look good to me, in any model range.
The '64 was okay, but seemed a lot busier after the nicely done '62/'63 beauties. Then there was the square-box '65, which was a real turnoff.
The rest of the decades versions did nothing for me at all.

1963, my favorite ‘60’s full size Ford.
