This one is extremely close.  I picked Ford over Mercury because it's a Crown Vic; otherwise Merc would have won by a hair.  Lincoln is nice enough but I prefer the sportier styling of the first two.

Ford but I would not pass the other two up.

...as much as I love my Lincolns, the '55's were obviously outdated especially when compared to the "all new"  other two.

The entire world knew that all new 1956 Lincolns were coming but, IMO, had FoMoCo spent some money JUST retooling a wrap-around windshield, I think '55 Lincoln sales would've been much greater.

I voted Lincoln. I like its clean lines, plus it's yellow. Ford next.

On this one John (and thanks for yet another thought provoking 'which?') I find myself liking every one of them. Higher end, down. The Lincoln is lovely, a precursor to the '56 Lincoln that is so precious to most of us auto enthusiasts. But it's not quite there. Are those surfboards over the rear fender openings?

The Mercury is gorgeous. Just a touch too much chrome cluttering up the rear side panels. The Crown Vicky is clean, uncluttered and sensuously smooth. And like the other two, in fifties pastel clothes.

Ford first then Mercury and Lincoln tied for second place.

Da Merc. The 55/56 Mercs have always been a favorite. Ford, then Lincoln.😊

1955 is one of the few years I like all three Ford products pretty much the same. Add the Thunderbird and it would be a foursome.

Ford with it's iconic Fairlane side trim. It was fresh at the time and still is today. Then Merc and Lincoln.

I voted Mercury. I liked the ‘52 - ‘54 Lincolns but they lost me in ‘55 with those quarter panel bulges.

Engineered to replicate a 1956 Lincoln - FoMoCo MNGMNT wanted some continuity.    IMO, they should've tooled a wrap-around windshield.  🙄 🙄

Ahh, 1955, the year I was born...might as well start at the top so it's Lincoln for me!
