Poll: Which Ford? (7/5/2026)

To me the 1955 strikes the right balance between too little and too much decoration. 1954 second.

I like the extra bling on the '56, although the '55 is a very close second.  

Reverse order for me please. 56, 55, 54. Over the three years, Ford just kept improving over the previous year.

I found this really difficult.  Ok so the 54 looks a little dated compared to the others but i still like it.  If the 55 and 56 were my only choice I would have voted a tie. They removed the bullets and the grill looks a bit better so I’ll go with the 56.

Easy for me ...1956. Every change they made was an improvement from the parking lights to the side trim to the dash board. All three are nice but the 56 is outstanding. Thanks for the comparison John.

My choices are the 55, 56 then the 54.

Another reverse order from me. I like all, but 1956, 1955 then 1954.

I voted a tie.  They are al winners and my favorites.

@bob-jackman +1  I agree with Bob's choices and comments.  The '56 is my fave Ford of its decade.

For years and until I saw today's pictures I would have said the '56 basically because of the dash layout, 12 volt electric system, and I believe the 312 engine. But the '55 today I like the side trim, parking lights, and grill better than the '56.   Easy fix, guess I would have to buy a '56 and change out the side trim & grill & parking lights from a '55.

'52 - '54 I loved as a kid but, I did not care for the bullet in the center of the grill, reminded me of the Studebaker. As an adult the '55 & '56 looked so much better.

By the pic presented I would have to vote I like the '55.  Seeing I would buy the '56, that is my vote today.

I agree with quite a few others here…’56, 55 and lastly the 54.
