John! You are diabolical! From where does this uncanny ability to choose intriguing comparos come? These are two of my favorite Oldmobiles. To my surprise, I'm voting for the cleaner '64! But I gotta wonder if the classy color has influenced me.

Oldsmobile: The first one I liked the '57, then jump to the '62 Starfire that I love, then the '63 Starfire that I liked, no interest after that.
Much preferred the '63 rear treatment. The '64 looks more luxurious and maybe a bit bloated even. The '63 looks sportier and ready to go cruising.
Both are exceptionally beautiful Oldsmobiles. I would be delighted to drive either one and I am absolutely delighted with both of my Yat Ming Signature 1962 1/18 Oldsmobiles, as they are both gorgeous 1/18 diecast replicas.
1964. I like the front and rear end more than the '63, and the cleaner side profile without the stainless trim.
I favor the color and wheelcovers of the 64. But the start of the fins, up front, are knife-edge and backwards looking. So for that reason I'm voting 63.
1963 for the stainless swoosh.

@jkuvakas I'm with you John. While the aluminum side trim on the 63 was a carryover theme from the 61 and 62 Starfires, I never cared for the 63 treatment. The 64 is just a cleaner looking car to me.
Like both and I cannot decide , so a tie this time.
I voted tie as well. Both gorgeous in their own right.😊💯
Tie vote here too and agree with Tony, that car long fin detracts from the overall design.

Tie. I find both cars interesting. Beginning with the slight difference in the grill to the square and rectangular tail lights. I think the aluminum side panel looks neat on darker cars and the lighter plain colors look better without it .
