@geno Here’s a rare one Geno. When I first saw this Hurst edition in a 1972 brochure I thought it was cool because of the 428, 4 speed aspect, but thought it was kind of garish looking. Then, years later a local classic cars dealer (Northwest Auto) had one for sale in their showroom and I was blown away, to me it was gorgeous!

‘61 for that grille, those wheels, the side trim and taillights…and it’s a bubbletop!

Well, this turned out to be a fairly easy choice after some thought. When I 1st read this, 'the '59 popped into my head as a 1st choice. I didn't vote then because as I looked at the photos of the '61, I paused. The '61 has never been the year I would have chosen years ago. The '59 has always been my favorite Pontiac year. Recently however, I've had an opportunity to spend time with a gorgeous '61 Bonneville. Its simpler style and flowing lines with a far more cohesive design has convinced me, it is by far, the better choice. The '59 is still a special car, but to my eyes now, far more clunky and an added on overall look, the '60 begins to clean up that clunkiness, and the '61 finishes the progress to perfection. So, for me at this point, the '61, then the '59 & '60 pretty much tied.
