Well, I like them all. But head to head in a vote, THE 70 WINS HANDS DOWN! I love that iconic grill, the side trim, the wheels, the roofline, and the taillights. It's no match for the other two.

I like them all, 👀67 is a favorite all time, 64 then 70.

1967 for me, followed by 1970

I like all three but by preference, 1967, 1964, 1970. Thanks John.
Seeing comments there's a definite trend that has to be respected. I am choosing '64, '67, '70, purely due to social history. I understand what was going on in '64 whereas it's all a bit of a pot fog thereafter.
The 1964 wins this one. I have always had a love for the original Pontiac GTO; both for its simple lines and its role in automotive history...the original muscle car. The rear end of the '67 GTO * is the least attractive of all of the 60s GTO offerings IMHO. The '66** is the best. Overall my fave GTO of the lot is the '65.

The 1965 is my favorite GTO. Well, except for the Ferrari it's named after.

The '70 is my choice because it reminds me of my 70 Trans Am.
The 64 is next followed of course by the 67. I do like all three though.

The votes surprised me on this one. I would have thought that the '70 would have been a run-away winner. But the '67 is burying it.

An intriguing comparo! I had to ponder this one for a bit. I think I'd go for the '64 for what it represents, then the '70 & '67.

This one hits close to home. I owned a ‘70 which in retrospect was a really great all-around everyday car (except for the gas mileage, which back then wasn’t a big deal). I later bought a ‘65, tripper, 4 speed, 390 posi, was stolen, stripped, and burned. Great fun while it lasted, very fast in a straight line, did not like corners. Fast backward a few years to my first Goat experience. My older brother’s friend bought a brand new gold with black guts ‘64 built to go fast. As a 12 year old car nut, I was smitten. Go a little forward now a couple years, my best friend bought a ‘66 with the required tripower, 4 speed. It was God awful fast, pretty much uncontrollable, and drop-dead gorgeous in midnight blue, my favorite year by far! To me, those taillights are the best in history, pure sex!
GTO for me is: '66, '65, '67 You can keep the rest, no interest at all after '67 or the '64. So '67 for this post.
Pontiacs I love: full-size '57, '61, '62, '64 [like '59, 60, 63]; mid-size '65, '66, '67, compact 0 none, pony '77 & '78 [Smokey & the Bandit]; as well as the '92 [Richard Petty Edition] Grand Prix. Love =; would definitely buy [if I were wealthy of course]. Like =; would buy if price is right [and I were wealthy]. Not interested in other Pontiacs, enjoy looking though.
