Wow John, I had to vote tie as I like both of them for different reasons and would never consider them as being in the same category. However, Ahem, if you want me to choose one as a daily driver…it’d be the Charger.

Tough call John. The Charger, though a big car, is super sporty. The Grand Prix by this time (71) is still sport/elegance.

Going personal/luxury - Grand Prix!!

I went Charger. In 71 the only Pontiac I am interested in is Firebird.

Do yous guys REALLY need to ask me?  I owned a '72 SJ. What a sweet ride it was. I sold it to a cousin who totalled it. That 455 would sure get her rollin'.😊

Not a very good pic, but the only one I have.

Pontiac. I always liked that generation of GP. They were huge but, as has been pointed out, they would move when commanded.

Jeez another tie.  I can’t really compare these.  The Charger is more sporty looking whereas the Grand Prix always in a class of its own.  The early 60s were nice and square, the mid to late 60s were large and these were nicely toned down in size similar to the early 60s.

Here you go, Geno. I know it's not the same, but it's close.

Both are somewhat larger cars than I prefer driving but of the two, I prefer the Grand Prix.

@sizedoesmatter it looks the same, right down to the white interior. The only differences I see are, mine had the standard gray and silver painted wheels and cornering lights. Thanks John.💯😎

Tie [in the negative] don't care for either one's styling.

Both are beautiful and powerful automobiles ! My family actually had a 1971 Pontiac and a 1971 Dodge. It was a big '71 Pontiac Granville with a 4-bbl 455 cid V-8 engine and a 1971 full-size Dodge station wagon with a 383 cid engine under the hood.
