I'll give y'all one guess.😆 followed by Chevy, Caddy, Buick, Olds.
Chevy looks so good and revolutionized the market. Cadillac next.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Wow John, this took some time to choose but finally I decided…thank-you for making me focus !
Olds & Buick tied for 1st
Pontiac 3rd which leaves Chevy and Caddy at 4th & 5th
🙌
Cadillac first, then Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, Pontiac, and Buick. I love the way the light reflects the curves and character lines of the Cadillac.
Lol, and I love the way the Sunlight reflects off the curves and character lines of the late, great T-Rex which I associate with this dinosaur Caddy. I guess you can pretty much tell thst I don’t like it. I think it’s an ugly car.
Oooo, tough one today John. But out of product loyalty, I'm going with Cadillac. Then Chevy, Buick, Olds and Pontiac.
Pontiac, Chevy, Cadillac and tie between the Buick and Olds.
Chevrolet, Pontiac, forget the rest. Actually, a great year for GM!
Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, the last tow a tie.
Chevy. They did a very good thing in ‘55.
I appreciate that the '55 Chevy is widely regarded as a "game changer" and I can appreciate why, but viewed from my distant perspective it never really turned me on in any way. I thought it was improved in '56 (and even - whisper it - in '57).
The '55 Pontiac is quite plain and the colour break is a little uninspired. I'll wait for the '57.
The Cadillac may have been impressive in its day but looks outdated, too tall and bulky, especially the nose. (Maybe it was quite imposing "in the flesh" but I don't much care for it.)
Which leaves me, oddly enough, with Olds and Buick, with the 2-tone treatment tipping it slightly in favour of the Olds.
As usual, I am basing this entirely on my reaction to their looks, not their relative merits as cars.
