Sorry to hear about your wife's setbacks from falls.  Prayers sent your way that she is back behind the wheel sometime soon.

Thank YOU George. I didn't mean to hi-jack the thread; just right now, she's not able to drive after 7 hard trauma's including an ER stay for the first & most serious one. She'

s just now starting to recuperate. Thanks again.

Hey Tony, never a need to apologize for sharing a personal situation that can weigh on you.  We all need support and encouragement during some of life's trials.  My princess battled Cancer for two years.  And this was during the COVID years.  For her, me, our daughters it was the toughest ordeal we endured.  If it hadn't been for support from family and friends it would have been a lot harder to deal with.  I felt helpless, as all I could do was be with my Lorraine was be with her and hold her hand.  It was heartbreaking to see her going through the awful Chemo treatments and her 6 week hospital stay.  A lot of prayers and hope is what we had to hang on to, together.  So my heart goes out to you and your wife Tony, as you both endure your situation.  I'm offering those same prayers and hope for you both!

About 35 years ago, my wife decided she no longer wanted to drive and she stopped cold turkey. Up to that point she drove whatever cars we had without issue.

@georgeschire "And also though never discussed is which side of the garage we park on.  I'm on the left, she's on the right. "

George; I am impressed by your acceptance and appreciation for the inevitable truth in relationships.... that the woman is always right.  Or perhaps you have excellent survival skills......lol.

Jack, I've been married for 50 years and it's all because of my "acceptance and appreciation for the inevitable truth in relationships".  Yes, she is always right!  Smile And also yes, with that acceptance, my survival skills are never in question.
