Pardon the pun, but, COOL! I was 10 back then and don't recall having seen that.
P.S. Edit - In '57, some cars had A/C but you would want to turn off the ignition while you dined. It would be a more viable offering at a drive-in restaurant, but more appreciated and likely more impossible at one of our southern drive-in movie theaters.
