Loved the songs he wrote for Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor and Don Henley. "Her Town Too" was a particular favorite. 79. Too young!! RIP!

Although a relatively low key artist compared to others he wrote lyrics for, J.D. Souther made a tremendous contribution to the music industry.  RIP.
