I could drool over '53 Mercury's all day and never get tired. Bumper to bumper they are gorgeous.

Love the '53 & '54. Heck '52 to '56 I love + '61 to '68. Go Mercury!

The 53 Mercury 2drht. is a gorgeous car; I wish Brooklin would do it but don't think they will somehow. Perhaps Goldvarg will....2drht. , convertible and wagon; I'd definitely buy all 3.

I have a special affection for the '53 Mercury as it was the family car when I was just a young'un. Flathead V8 and three-on-the-tree. Looked exactly like this:

@al_dorado, my childhood memories of family cars always influenced me as to what a like or didn't like. I'd guess that could be the case for most everyone.
