This is hilarious.... because it's true.   If you've ever had a difficult time falling asleep you KNOW any thought, reflection, memory or fear can be realized.   HINT: Turn your brain off.

I find that carb intake near the bedtime hour promotes sleep.  I can't speak to the turning off of ones brain though...it sounds really hard.....like how do you know when it's ON?

@perrone1 I'm like minded Tony....it does what it wants.  Best to focus on what you can control and not waste your valuable time.

I hear ya brother! I try my best but it does what it wants, when it wants and how it wants.

For example; it's writing this as I speak and I have no clue what comes next.

Oh; I guess that was it!!

It = brain. (I think. Let me check. Brain, was 'it' referring to you? Oh, yeah, by all means. Most certainly. Uh - what was the question?)

....the older I get the more I realize that the left-side of my brain contains wrong information, nothing's right,  and the right-side of my brain has nothing left.    🙄 🙄 🙄

My favcorite 'take' of that is the dog in the movie, "UP". As he speaks he stops dead, turns his head as if by a turbo-charger and says, "SQUIRREL!"
