I'm sure John B. is sitting there chuckling to himself about the turmoil he's caused in my feeble little brain. This could go either way but for the moment I'm picking the Mach 1.

Very close between these two but I give a slim edge to the Barracuda.  I loved the '69 Mach I Mustang but was disappointed with the  nose treatment in '70.  The Cuda is great looking and a better handling car but its drawback for me was its spartan looking interior.

I went with the 'Cuda. They're both terrific, but the 'Cuda looks just that much better.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

'69 Mustang over the Barracuda,  '71 Cuda over the Mustang,  '70 a TIE for me [being in the middle, lol].  '70 I would have bought the Challenger T/A.

For 1970, I prefer the Barracuda as the Mustang was not quite as appealing to me. That said, I love them both.

No hesitation here, the 'cuda. IMO it is one of the best designed muscle cars of 1970. Every line is perfect. It ties, for me, with the '70 Trans-Am. I do like the Mach 1 but prefer the '69 like Jack does. Steve

@brush Bruce, I agree that in 1970 I would have bought the Challenger over either of these.
