Gorgeous!

....these Lincolns were always standouts. They were never shunned, ridiculed, or dismissed; they've made a statement from day one. 😎 😎
That's NOT a land yacht. It's NOT a BIG Boat. That's a Cruise Ship and I LOVE it!
That is a gorgeous car. I always love to see them at shows and will always stop for a couple of photos. I wish someone would issue a very good model of this year. FM issued it in 1:24, a couple of colors. It's OK, but just OK, definitely not all it could be. BoS models issued it in 1:43, again just OK. A car as fine as this one deserves to have a quality replica done of it. C'mon GLM, please get busy on this one.

I agree John. I still believe the best model of a 1961 Lincoln is Signature's 1/18. It has a few flaws - that I fixed - but pound for pound, it's the best slabside you'll find. 😏
that is stunning John. Did u remember what u went out shopping for??
@geoff-jowett, LOL! Yes! I saw it as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. It was parked wayyyy at the end. I stopped, got out, and started snapping photos. Then I just looked at it for a few minutes. As I got back in my car, I thought, "I'm going to go home and share this with the guys in the Lounge." I almost left without going into the grocery store!

@jkuvakas IMHO it's the unique grille that really makes this year Lincoln rise above several years that followed; although all years of this design are very nice indeed.
Great find and photos John. I'd have stopped and given it a few extra glances too! Admittedly, not for the same reasons most here would, as I like the car for what it represents to Lincoln styling history, but not because I like the styling. And fact is, I don't like it. I do have one of the FM models, again because of what it means to Lincoln styling.
