Fun & imaginative today, but I doubt any of these proposals would've had a chance back then.
I think Chris is absolutely right that few, if any, would have been made.
But for me, I like each and every one of them and would own one today if I could!
There are certainly some interesting concepts there ! It reminds me of the illustrated book, "Designing America's Cars of the Fifties".
Having a hatch back then would have been wonderful.
I prefer the production models.

Well, I don't know about that. The car at top left is pretty horrible, but some of the others have styling touches that are no better or worse than some of Chrysler's production styling of the era and just might have been as well-received (or badly received) as what they actually offered the car-buying public back then.Fun & imaginative today, but I doubt any of these proposals would've had a chance back then.
The turquoise over white HT in particular would probably have fitted in perfectly well in '58/'59.
The fin shape and 2-tone divide on the white and red hatchback are a bit awkward but could be improved, and otherwise it could have looked quite presentable - and functional.

@perrone1 I'm with Tony. The first one though reminds me of the AMC Gremlin in the early to mid 70's. Did they copy the design and modify?
Though I may be the lone wolf on this one, I'm actually okay with them.

The third from the bottom is my pick as it looks like the fins have been lowered.
