I wonder what the heavily tattooed folks will do when this trend goes out of fashion? Personally, for the life of me I just cannot understand the attraction.
Yes, that is odd. If both parents have the recessive tattoo gene (and obviously you have to be a bit recessive to get tattoos in the first place) it ought to come through. Maybe it's one of these things that skip a generation, and the grandchild will emerge black and blue all over? Then the parents will be charged with suspected child abuse. Serve them right.

the newer generation tattoos are really quite beautiful.

Joop;
I have a very strong suspicion (that I cannot back up medically) that there is indeed an addiction/compulsion of sorts that sadly some individuals experience. I believe that one day this will be confirmed by medical science. It sickens me in particular to see really pretty women ruin their looks with tattoos; especially those done by tattoo "artists" with questionable talent. I'm sure that many young people would just call my comments the rantings of an old man...but I really do feel strongly that in time there will be tremendous regret experienced by many.
Your not alone in your thoughts Jack…exactly my thoughts also,then again I remember back in the day when only drunken sailors got Tatoos.😂
