…I haven’t bought a new car in 12 years, but regardless, I wake up every day with that “itch”. My problem lately is, even though I’d like to buy a new car, I just can’t get past that “wide mouth” grille & (now) that “widescreen” computer monitor look with most new car instrument panels…both just ruin the look & feel I’m so accustomed to…

@terryslekar I wasn’t a fan of the big mouth cars, but my wife picked out our 2021 Malibu (just like this stock photo) and I’ve grown to really like the looks.

Yes, but some are more obvious than others.Maybe it's time to look and another Make or model.

The Lexus, that you posted, looks way too similar to the alien in the movie, "Predator". I hate it. And the later BMW grills look like two Edsel twins sucking lemons.
I do like the electronic touch & slide screen in the car, I can keep my eye on the road while making choices but dislike the overly big ones you mention, needing too many confusing decisions.
There's plenty other cars out there with nicer front ends and user-friendly dashboards. We've owned three really nide looking Mercedes-Benz cars and also the Audi has some 'lookers'.

The best description I have ever heard to describe the nose of the '61 Plymouth was that of John Roberts, who said it reminded him of a bulldog chewing a wasp!
Strangely enough...I have actually come to like the '61 Fury....go figure.

......I just bought a new truck, no one's said anything negative about the huge grill, and everyone gets out of my way.
