When Plymouth first unveiled that drastically different roofline, it put me off. With familiarity I learned to like its quirky look. But that Malibu in SS attire, is sleek & curvy at the same time. A somewhat understated design that worked then and even now. Chevelle for me please John!

Neither are favorites of mine but slight edge to the Chevy.

Plymouth for me. I love its angularity. The Chevy always struck me as bland.

I voted Chevy.  Those pictured wheels however, I would take the Plymouth’s.  🛞😎👍

Plymouth please. Don't care for the Chevy at all, bland and tiny.  After the strange styling of the '60 - '63 Plymouths the '64 was better but the '65 looked great to me.

The Malibu SS was my favourite American car in the mid 1960s and still remains so.

I much prefer the styling of the Malibu SS.  There wasn't a a bad or even average looking Chevelle made from '64 through '72 IMHO; the '69 is my favorite.

Didn't care for the look of the Malibu during this period.  So it's the SATALITE for me.  Give me full-size versions of both cars and the Chevy Impala would get my vote over the Plymouth Fury by a slight margin.

Plymouth is nice but looks like your average grocery getter, where as the Malibu stands out from the pack. Malibu for me, thank you.

@david-green David; I don't think we had the single headlight '65 Satellite here in Canada did we?  Did we even have a "Satellite" here...or was it just Belvedere and Fury?  I recall only ever seeing a couple of them and assumed they were American imports.  Perhaps it was the single headlight grille feature and Satellite badging that was only available in the USA in '65.  We did of course have the mid sized Satellite in '66.

@jack-dodds

I don’t remember it either, Jack. I think that the Satellite was the top model in the USA Belvedere line back in 1965 but not sold in Canada as you suggest.
