I suspect the Camaro coupe and convertible configuration as we knew it, is dead and buried. R.I.P.

@sizedoesmatter Yep, sounds like it. It'd at least be nice if they'd do a coupe and sedan like Dodge has done with the Charger. 😟

@100ford2003 A real one.... either a 2027 Mustang or 2028 Camaro - or Mustang convertible if the no Camaro 'vert is offered, but I'd rather have the Camaro.
@sizedoesmatter I'm incredulous John, that article is almost one year old. Furthermore, there's many "ifs" and "planned dates" that simply can't/didn't happen. BUT - do I think a Camaro SUV to rival the MACH E is out of the question? Absolutely not!
The bottom line: No credible source yet has confirmed precisely what the next-gen 2028 Camaro will look like. Until I see PROOF, I'm hopeful - but I know the ODDS are against me. 😔 😔 😔
Chris, the first link is dated Apr 8, 2026. Yes, anything could happen between now and the reveal. Hope you get what you want.@sizedoesmatter I'm incredulous John, that article is almost one year old. Furthermore, there's many "ifs" and "planned dates" that simply can't/didn't happen. New link, old article. There's NO way these go on sale in the "fall of 2026." If I get HALF of what I want, I'm satisfied..... ...but THANKS! 😉 😉
The only Camaro I’d ever want as a 1:1 is a ‘70-72 Z28. Yep, I’m a stubborn SOB but at least I know what I like and will never waiver.
Steve
I have a Gen-Five Camaro, bought new, and love it. Never owned a 4-door anything and never plan to. The market is saturated with 4-door stuff so why add Camaro to that crowded field. What is needed is a sporty 2-door 2+2 that is affordable for younger people. I see lots of Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers around town so some people still prefer a 2-door sporty car 2+2.
@100ford2003 Steve;
any Z-28 up to '72 I would take in a heartbeat....just an awesome car through those years.
