The GM Motorama was a spectacular traveling display put on by General Motors in the 1950's and featured various show, dream and real cars, both production and "possibilities" .... and various stages in-between. A number of the cars were destroyed (mostly for tax and liability purposes) yet some were saved or "re-constucted" from parts ..... and there have been all manner of rumors over the years. Most actual show cars seem to have been fabricated here in the USA and so didn't suffer the Chrysler Norseman's famous fate.
But even though this old article buried in my internet archives dates from over 10 years ago (but still seems to work), it seems to talk about some of the automobiles and their mysteries, the fact remains they are all still fascinating dream cars.

Yeah, pretty cool Mike. I've never seen that '53 Corvette "mule" before. Had that survived, it would be priceless today. 😬 😬 😬Â
