And FedEx that to me please.😁
My former neighbor is 95 and she still drives...her car insurance, she claims is through the roof...she plans to give up driving next year and start using Uber.

.... I must admit, I had to think about the age of this cartoon. There's only one mailbox near me. For $100 I couldn't tell you where a second one is...... 😯 😯
I think if they ever tried to revoke my driver's license due to old age I would go to the testing center and take hostages.
do you know I gotta be honest, at 76 my driving skills ain't what they used to be. I reckon my reaction time has slowed and I'm certainly more impatient and frustrated on the road, although that could be more to do with Melbourne's traffic congestion.
@geoff-jowett I have noticed that I don't have the patience for traffic anymore and I avoid larger centers whenever I can. I still love to drive and I'm sure I always will but only when traffic is light and you can take time to look around and enjoy the landscape as you go. Another reason why I am very glad that I moved to a peaceful town of just 16,000 in 2021.
I have found that my patience is way better than at any previous age. And I used to be the one passing everyone. Now, I go my pace and if it is too slow; which it is, pass me! When Mom was still with us (she passed in 2012 at age 98 years, one month) she drove until she was 91 and had a perfect record. My sister (95 in July) finally quit driving this year, at 94 since her car was giving her so much trouble. She told me yesterday that she donated it to Habitat for Humanity. One of her grandkids or great grandkids drive her - there must be about a thousand of them - HA!
I hear ya fellas, our small city, pop. around 22,000, is plenty for us. We have all the amenities we need without the big city traffic headaches. We're quite content here, lol. We have 2 blue mailboxes. On each end of town. That's the only 2 I know of anyway.😁
I went to the post office this morning and ordered breakfast but it never came. I went inside to complain but they just laughed at me when I wanted my money back. Damn young people.
@geoff-jowett Geoff, I'm with you about being more impatient as I've gotten older. I keep thinking at my age that I don't have that much longer so I've got to hurry to get things done whatever they are.
The only mailbox location that comes to mind in my town is the mailbox at the Post Office..... I must admit, I had to think about the age of this cartoon. There's only one mailbox near me. For $100 I couldn't tell you where a second one is...... 😯 😯

Regarding driving and age, I'm (likely) in the minority on this, but this has always been my thinking. We have age limits (age 16) to get a license to drive and we should have an age limit (I'd suggest 75) of when one shouldn't drive anymore.
For me it's always been simple logic, if one can be "too young" to drive, then one can also be "too old" to drive. I'm 74 years old, and I'd have no problem at all if there was an age limit that I could no longer have a license. I'd certainly be safer.

@georgeschire I couldn't disagree more. Putting an arbitrary age on anything is just wrong as there are old people at 21 and young people at 90. IMO people should be tested each time they renew their drivers license to see if they are capable and alert enough to be driving a vehicle.
I certainly agree with you on this one Bob. Ontario has testing every two years once you turn 80. A doctor is required to report seniors who show physical or mental incapacity that may make them unsafe. I believe these are safeguards enough.
