From 1936 through 1941 the Lincoln-Zephyr and the Continental's were some of the sexiest and most glamorous cars on the road!

At the EyesOn Design Exhibition, a significant collection of collector cars is assembled every year where the overall theme is celebrating automotive design. Within the main grouping are small selections of cars that showcase a specific era or design style.

These sexy little gems are from the 2016 show field.

@sizedoesmatter +1. My first thought was that two tone paint on that coupe and how much I liked it. Thanks for the pictures John, they really were sexy Lincolns.

Did anyone ever make a Continental coupe in either 1/24 or 1/18? We have a lot of cabriolets, but I always wanted a hardtop.

I've never seen one in either scale, only 1/43.

@rich-sufficool Rich, I too would like to have a coupe in 1/24 and/1/18 scale.

Every one is elegant. But my favorite, too, is the top two tone Zephyr. I'd bet the ranch that if the colors were reversed, light color on top and dark color below (and maybe 4-5 coats of clear) the car would be even more spectacular!

@perrone1 +1  I agree Tony!  Now that is what you call a truuuuuuunk!

I never was able to warm up to the "continental kit" part of the Continental; it always seemed to be at styling odds with the rest of the car.

I'm with you 100% on the Conny Kits. I always wanted a Zephyr after I bought our kayaks. I could put both of them in the trunk and close the lid!!
