...being a drummer, I must correct 'ya. That's actually more of a "flam-stroke" - for comedy effect: "Ba-da-boom..." 😀 😀
These are "rim shots." Striking just once, "Left - Right" (LR) would constitute a "rim shot."

Yep, yep, you're right, I realized when I wrote that it was a TaDum or whatever it's called. I ought to know what a rim shot is, I, too, was a drummer!! Yes, I swear. No bands just for myself and a little bit in the Army. How 'bout that for coincidence!@perrone1 Hmm... 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤨

Thankfully the sweater isn't one of those that extend below the hips.....that would definitely crack everyone up.
