1976, you are 25 years old and you just came into some money and decided to buy a new car for your everyday uses, what would be your top three choices in the order of the most desired.

I didn't like any American car choices in '76. So my choice would be a VW Scirocco. I had one and was very satisfied with it.

Charger or Firebird; my current old car is this ‘76
Nova Concours equipped with 4bbl 350, positrac and F41 suspension.
And yes, it’ll smoke both back tires if I so choose.

I would save my money and continue to drive my present car as nothing from this year appealed to me.

Since I liked my used Pontiac Astre, I 'd buy a new one, next choice would be a Ford Bronco, maybe a Capri II.
