Close to 'tie' status but by a whisker - Buick.

I have a slight leane to the Oldsmobile. It was difficult choosing between these two, John.

I'm choosing the Riviera by a huge margin. I prefer its exterior and interior styling. I don't think I would have trusted the Tornado with its front wheel drive the first year in production. However I agree that the Tornado is a beautifully styled car.

Buick. It's always been a favorite. Ditch the vinyl roof, please.

Tough one! While I favor the Riviera's design, I voted for the Toronado. I vividly remember when they were introduced. Both were beautiful. But that Toro was brawny, huge, and all-American. It was so exotic, like a modern-day Cord.

I agree with Ed. I think that the vinyl roof spoils the flowing lines.

+2! I hate vinyl roofs on just about any car.

They didn't look so bad on some cars. I liked them on the '65-'66 Caprice & LTD and MKIII's for instance.

I agree with MkIII's, some Landau models and Towncars.

Never liked the Tornado, probably because it was a front wheel drive in an era where all cars where rear wheel.  You could not spin the wheels and do burnouts if you wanted to.

No contest for me. the beautiful Buick for me against the gimmicky styled Olds with it's unnecessary wheel flares and clumsy front bumper.

The TORANADO for me!  I was shocked and surprised when I took Drivers Training in 1967 and the instructor drove up in a TORANDO from a local Oldsmobile dealership.  I got my training driving a TORANADO!  How many 15 year old's can say that?
