I was alive, but only 7 years old. I do however remember most of these songs.😊
I was 26 years old. I recall a few of the songs from the list.
John Bono
North Jersey
I was 20 and remember many of the songs.
Ed Davis
Inverness, Illinois, USA
I was 11 and remember almost all of the songs. I have always loved music from all genre's and have over 1500 songs on usb's that I keep in my cars that I listen too everyday that I am driving. I do not listen to any radio or sirius, and the funny thing is I work at a Radio Station but it an all sports station.
remember most of them. Incredible diversity, hard rock, folk, blues, commercial gospel, pop instrumental and orchestral instrumental.
I've just been in the dentists chair, where I play music from my cellphone using earbuds. Simon and Garfunkel's The Boxer was one of the songs. Who could imagine I'd be doing that 57 years ago?
I usually listened to WCFL rather than WLS and collected the Sound 10 Survey every week. I'd cross a song off the list once I heard it on the radio. Then, I'd most likely have crossed all these songs off the list, now...I don't remember all of them.
I was 14 at the time. I often hear the statement that more people say they were at Woodstock then were actually there. I recognized 11 songs.
I was 11. I remember watching the hippies on TV. I do remember quite a few songs. My interest in music didn’t start until a few years later. I still can’t get in my car without music on and I listen to my tunes on my phone and ear piece when I go for my daily walk.
I had arranged to go with a friend who had a car. I was working a summer job with Canada Customs at the time and was afraid at the last minute to take the time off. It turns out the he never got there. He got caught up in the traffic jam on the New York State thruway . Traffic was so bad that it completely stopped and most were forced to turn around and go back.
I was 22 and my wife and I never had the first thought of going. She was 8 months pregnant with our daughter. She was born in Spt. '69.
I was 29, married and saving money for a down payment on a house. I remember all but five of the songs listed. Woodstock was something we saw on television.
I was 17 at that time and me and my late friend Ken had planned to drive all the way there from west coast Canada in his '67 Mustang convertible his Dad had just bought him. At the 11th hour I decided I didn't want to go all that way so we cancelled; my friend was not impressed and always reminded me of what we had missed. I tend to look at it as perhaps a tragedy avoidance given his wild driving habits and looking at the pics of the quagmire Max's farm had become with the major rain storm that blew through, plus the obvious lack of facilities, lineup, drugs, etcetera. I'm convinced it was a blessing. Sure it would be cool to say "I was at Woodstock", but so were 400,000 others. Lol.
