I knew a guy like this that ran an auto parts store in Brooklyn. You would tell him what you needed and without referencing any parts manual, he would yell out the part # to the associates working in the back. The item would be brought out to the counter within a minute or two. Remarkable to watch this guy in action.A vault of auto knowledge and information. I knew a guy like that once. A real treasure!

@sizedoesmatter John a late friend was a parts guy at a Ford dealer for 45 years. He had a photographic memory and if you needed a part he knew the part number and if they had it.
