Given the topics and views to be found here, I think this guy sums things up quite nicely.
If your hearing is like mine (just a bit fuzzy round the edges) you can also find the official recorded version on YouTube, where the lyrics are maybe a little clearer.

That is somewhat pessimistic Graeme. Our members in the main are affable people who love a discussion and rarely get overheated.
Everybody else outside of the Diecast Zone, of course, fit into this song’s theme extremely well.

Yes of course. I was actually referring to the comments, cartoons and wry observations posted here about the absurdities of human nature OUTSIDE the Lounge - behavioural shortcomings from which we lizards (needless to say) are largely immune.
Of course we do have a few cases of borderline insanity, but I'm not naming any names. They know who they are. Well, actually, I'm not sure if they DO know who they are. Or what year this is, or whether Calvin Coolidge is still president. But they are happy in their own way.

Last I heard he went camping in the Adirondacks and isn't answering his cellphone. But reception may be bad and at present, authorities are not unduly concerned about his welfare.

I'm happy...in my own way. The world began to spiral downward when Mad Magazine ceased production; it's absence is glaring. The sage commentary of Roger Kaputnick was often the only thing that made sense of this crazy world of ours........
