I considered my late brother to be a true master modeler. He would spend literally months working on a particular car carefully wiring and plumbing the engine compartment, prepping and painting for a smooth, shiny finish, fabricating parts for a more realistic look, and proudly display it. Now, years later I’m supposed to believe that a manufacturer can produce thousands of examples of a model with detail and finish that would take a person weeks to produce just one. Who are they trying to kid? I was taking a close look at some of my favorite models and realized that what I was seeing couldn’t really be explained. Could Elon have produced a molecular reducer, makes sense to me. I’ve included random examples in the way of photos for proof, we cannot let ourselves be fooled any longer!
Beautiful indeed Kev. Some of my models I have spent over a year researching, gathering parts and supplies and everything else that goes in to getting one completed. It is fun building them where they look as good as the Mint models. Here's some of my engine compartments. Granted they're not DM quality, but as good as my old hands and eyeballs can get, lol. Forgive me Kev. No intention on hijacking your thread. Just adding in on the visual appeal of these miniature beauties we love if that's ok?😊
@geno You are definitely not highjacking brother, my goal is to get people replying and sharing. Your skills are amazing, every bit as good as my brothers work which I thought was supernatural. Now Christopher’s photos are beyond supernatural! Is that a ram air IV in the ‘64, awesome!
@kevins Thanks Kevo. It is a RAIV. I restomodded that build with all Pontiac parts to make it look as if it could have come from the factory that way.😊
Trick question!!! They are BOTH! The cars are real 1:1's but the transport is a model. NO, wait! Just the other way around - the cars are models and the transport is real!!
Thanks Kevin, Geno and Chris. The work is fabulous. Years ago I used to do a lot of detailing but not up to these standards. Those days are long gone unfortunately. Thanks guys.
