As much as I love the '68 Charger R/T and the fact that it is by far my fave Charger, my vote goes to this super rare, powerful and gorgeous looking Cougar. It took me a while to decide but once again it boiled down to which one I would want in my garage at home.
Love both & both are beautiful but, I have to go with the bigger and better Charger. To me, nothing beats the Charger in '68. If you limit it to pony cars only, then the Cougar rules for my taste.
Beautiful and powerful V-8 machines with the muscle car era approaching a pinnacle of might, performance and good looks.
I can't look past that iconic Coke-bottle shape. The aggressive shark mouth ready to devour its prey - CHARRRGE-R!
Tie! Two of the best styled cars of the 60s.
I prefer the size of the Cougar, but the Charger is to beautiful not to win.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I see these as two different types of cars. The Charger is all about straight line speed while the Cougar says show me the curves. Cougar by a slim margin.
Damn, I love both of these, but its the Charger by a tail light.
The common link for these two cars are their outstanding beauty.

I much prefer the size of the Cougar. The Charger was deadly in Canadian Winter.
Another challenging choice. Like Jack, it took me a while. But the Cougar gets my vote today. That nimble size and the screaming 427 won me over.

Got to call it a tie.
