I've come across a few stories like this over the decades. If a year of social media exposer can't yield results, then it can be (logically ) assumed it's a one-off custom by person or persons unknown. Like all other facets of life, car collecting has its mysteries too. 🤨

They covered up the Texas license plate. I wonder if they traced it back, what the information would say the car was registered as.

There were many startups and fabricators operating on the West Coast in the years after WWII. Many of them made one-off prototypes that never made it into production.
