Completely ruins the look of the actual '55 Chevy. I wonder if the tail end is different?

This is one "What if?" I'm glad remains just that. The finished '55 Chevy is so perfect and iconic, I'd not want it to look anything but the way it does.

Very much a 55 from the side; the only major difference seems to be the Ford-like front end. Were the standard tri-five Chevy grille in place, it would look much more 'familiar'.

This isn't too bad, they captured the '54 look and used it transitionally, which was commonplace but the '55's Ferrari inspired grill was (is ) a much better choice. Harley Earl was at the top of his game in the 1950s!

It's not bad but of course I prefer the production version.
