Undaunted by his personal identity issues, Geoff tries again, making the back window wider at the rear (thereby increasing the weight of the rear glass by another 250 pounds, which explains the sagging rear suspension).
And don't call me Shirley.
Wonder what it would look like that wide, but a lot less long? Probably past the point of no return.
Geoff is Geoff Jowett from Australia but not a poster of this thread at this time. No doubt John saw the G in your name and associated it with Shirley, ah, I mean Geoff. LOL! Six demerits for him and no Snickers bar for lunch.

Keep on wondering. I'm not doing it again.
Graeme; I do not blame you at all sir! Thanks for what you've done thus far - it made the thread a lot more fun.
@perrone1: Thanks, Tony, I appreciate the good words but don't believe it's fixable. The car itself has so many sharp lines that I don't see any way to improve the fastback glass appearance. In my humble opinion, the necessary angles for incorporating the fastback concept don't fit well with the basic design of that model Eldorado.

I hear that! I think we'll just have to let this poor golden goose slowly pass on and hope it doesn't migrate back this way any time soon!
The Eldorado's understated restrained, conservative & stately design language, IMO, is totally spoiled by the addition of this gratuitous placement of a flamboyant triangulargreenhouse which does nothing but stick out like a sore thumb wrapped in pink Band-aids. It's neither bold nor beautiful. Analogous to a well-dressed man in a tuxedo but with an over-sized novelty hat, w/artificial fruit, on his head.
