John, I'll be riding the bus again. I'm turned off by the big rear window and the boat tail which appears similar to a "What if..." from a few days ago.
Agree with Jack that the original Barracuda body size suited that rear window style better. This one looks just too stretched out and exaggerated.
Just for the hell of it I decided to try a more formal look. I'm not claiming for one moment it is any improvement on the delicious original Turbine Car. Just a "What if?" doodle to amuse myself.

They are all really interesting ! I imagine PPG (Pittsburg Plate Glass) would have been involved in consultation about the size of the rear window ....
When I was a kid my Dad told me about an executive client at Plymouth who went to the Chrysler test track and took an automobile then under test (the new upcoming Barracuda ?) out for a drive on the track. He had the driver's side window down while zooming around the track and the huge rear window suddenly blew out at 100 mph or so ! He was ok but Chrysler then forbade ANY executives from "testing" prototypes at the test track, lol !
Glad you like it. Incidentally, I later realized the bottom right corner of the rear window didn't quite sit right. It was a little too high. So I tweaked it. As if anyone cares. Just for my own satisfaction.
