Lincoln went with this proposal for the '61?

It is an interesting automobile and it would be pretty cool if a number of proposals and alternate designs could also somehow be produced, too.

It has potential...not a fan of the grille.

I like the concept overall, but completely agree with John - not enthusiastic about the grille.

It has the fender blades like those on the 64 Starfire and that's cool, so is the side styling.

Chrysler and Dodge came close to this look in 66 and 67.

I also see the '64 Starfire as Tony already pointed out.

Not keen on that at all. Looks like an early styling sketch that still needs work. The grille/front bumper combination is too shallow compared to the deep, slabby sides, and those fender-top projections look a little timid.

Looking at shaping of the outer part of the grille surround around the headlights, the scalloped section in the hood/bonnet,  the front fender getting slightly "squeezed" toward the front, the down-curve of the side sections of the front bumper  - oh yes, and the windshield frame - I can see clear hints of what became the 1960 Ford Galaxie - a much more handsome car to my eye.

I can't help but compare it to the beautiful '61 Continental.....and it doesn't come close IMHO.

Front reminds me of the '70 Dodge Coronet and this side view a '65 Chrysler. Dislike it.

Yes, it's an interesting concept but honestly, I'm not sure THIS can be topped.   1961 Lincolns were (are ) just about flawless from any angle.

@perrone1

Agree Tony, but rear flanks look more like the Olds 98
