....seems like a correct interpretation. 🤨 🤨
Not bad...I think the "wood" trim is a distraction.

I think it looks great. I would love to own one.
Looks like a modified Alfa nose, but it works.
It is very interesting ! It most certainly looks fast, even given it is a supposed family station wagon.
I'm impressed. Does it need that many lights?
Hey, I'd take it in a heartbeat over any of the kazillion SUV's that all look alike.

Wouldn't todays SUV's all be considered "family station wagons" too? I've always thought it odd, that in their heyday, all of the many beautifully styled Station Wagons were looked down upon and not cool, yet today all automakers push SUV'S down our throats and most don't even make passenger cars anymore.

I think at least sometimes in the past, some station wagons were considered "top of the line" and their performance was quite good and nothing to ignore. My Dad's giant 9 passenger Chevrolet Caprice Estate station wagon had a 454 cid LS-4 big-block V-8 engine with a 4 bbl carburetor and dual exhausts.
To my eye, a vast improvement over the old Edsel. The car's styling is singularly appealing. The wood of the 'woody' look, however, is sadly lacking and subtracts harshly from the overall image. It is front heavy and not the least indicative of yesteryears classic designs. The big space in the middle deserves another beam, dimensionally and the back end needs more coverage while the front does not.
Works for me!

I agree with you about some being considered "top of the line", but regardless of that, there was always the stigma that if one owned a station wagon, they weren't cool. Reason of course being because of more stylish convertibles and hardtops that always forced an immediate second look.
