Like Bob, I, too, love them both! My first brand new car was a 1964 GTO, the first year of the breed. Gotta go with the Gee-To!

Once again, a hard choice but the GTO wins for me here.

This one, for me, would come down to the drivetrain. I'll take the R/T as that 440 was hard to beat.

This generation of mid-sized Mopars was just perfect to my eyes! Dodge gets my vote.

Interesting how our tastes change.  Back in '67 I'd have chosen the Pontiac without hesitation.  But today, it would be a complete 180 for me, and I'd want the Dodge.

Mid-size cars:  '66 - 67 Fairlane good looking car, '65 - '67 GTO the almost perfect car, '66 - '70 Dodge Coronet is almost perfect: '66 - '70 Charger is the perfect mid-size car. Love them all!

The Coronet R/T is my choice for '67 being roomier and the bullet proof drive train 440 to the GTO 400. '66 would have been tie for engine GTO, 389 to 383 Coronet. For looks alone the GTO wins against the Coronet, Roominess, comfort, handling, drive train go to the Dodge.

Both are awesome cars but I love the aggressive styling of the GTO.
