That's only a small part. The dog rules the household. Gotta love a dog.

I love dogs. I've had dogs. But as a retired adult, I don't want a dog. For me, the pros and cons listed, the cons say NO to a dog (or any animal). I want to be free of responsibility. I want to go away when I want to, go outside when I want to, and having a dog (or again any animal) restricts or negates my being free. MY OPINION of course!

Our dog and cat complete our family. Nothing would seem right without them.
We've had pets as well. None since Hunter's passing.
As a matter of fact I wouldn't have to set my alarm-clock anymore.
I have two tiny dog-stomachs telling me it is time to wake up.
But surprise surprise, when they have been fed, they return to sleep and I am totally awake.
But, when he wakes you up with that silly smile, how can you be grumpy, right?
