I completely agree with that list.  I'm familiar with many of those and, well, "slightly above worthless"  is a perfect summation.    👍

They are totally wrong! There is NO such thing as a MUSCLE car after '72. Thanks to the government.

I'll take your word for it guys, 18 minutes is much too long for me to spend on something that I have no skin in the game.

I'm with you on this one.  I'll only say that as is the case with anything considered "collectible", it is only worth what one person sells it for and another person pays for it.  But my rational in no way declares that to be the "value" of the collectible.  The challenge is always finding that "one person" that agrees with you.

Value, value, I think it is about time we value cars for what they are really worth to ourselves.

Not what they are worth when you sell them.

See what's happening to Porsches and the likes here in Europe.

Sellers are seeing their inventory grow, not being able to sell them at the prices they were accustomed to.

People also spend huge amounts of money on restorations, finding out that it was not worth it in most cases.

I own my 1972 Corvette since 1987 and I still love it.

Every couple of years I see the value rise a little bit, but that's not that important to me.

I just love the model and I am still so proud that I own it.

Bottom line, be happy with what you have, be it a straight line screamer or an oldie from behind the Iron Curtain.

It is amazing how many of these cars passed through friends and extended family hands during the 70s and 80s. I am very happy that I avoided them.

I too agree with the list. My problem with the video is that on many of the cars the announcer speaks about the engine and shows a motor from another car. Example, the Plymouth Cricket. The announcer talks about the four cylinder motor while pictured is a V8 with dual fours. The AMC Matador speaks of it's 360 V8 and shows a straight 6. Such errors to me say the video was produced by people who know very little about cars.

Based on my history with these types of videos, it's usually someone's opinion that has little knowledge of the subject and that frustrates me for wasting my time.
