I have all the original boxes. All are stored in an extra bedroom and 2 closets, floor to almost 7 feet high. Most of my collection consists of 325 plus 1/24th's but several 1/18th and about 80-90 1/43rd's. I also have boxes for single, 6 car and 10 car display cases plus accessories like gas stations, gas pumps, billboards, drive-ins, dealerships, garages, lifts, etc. All the paperwork and brochures are cataloged in 10X13 envelopes and stored in filing cabinets with several years worth of DM and other catalogs. Now that I've actually written this and read it, I understand why my family looks at me kind of funny when I complain I need more room even though DM, FM, GMP and WCDP are out of the diecast business. They don't know how many new models are still in those boxes!

I store my around 800 1/18 in their boxes and too many to count 1/64th cars along with my 105 1/18 military vehicles, 23 1/18 planes in their boxes and 200 figures along with my Dads model planes and tanks in the 2 storage units I rent. My furniture and my parents stuff is also in my storage. I have 590 1/24 diecast mostly in their boxes stacked in my bedroom. I also have about 80 of my Dads and my brothers model cars in flat storage containers.
