As a kid bologna [Oscar Mayer of course in the 50's]& Spam were served quite a bit, they were not great but alright, but as an adult no thank you, there are much better things out there.
Yep, try some fried up Pork Chorizo with your scrambled eggs 😋 and don't forget the flour tortillas and salsa.
Baloney spread was the, um, "chef"'s own creation. His "creativity" inspired me to make my own lunch menu mocking him. I don't remember the whole thing, but the highlight was Cream of Breakfast Soup.
...Oh, and Corn with Elephant Eyes. Not only was it music camp, it was also MUSICAL camp.
????????Cream of Breakfast Soup ????????? Wasn`t that the entree devised by Bill Dauterive when Peggy Hill needed to make a whole camel "go away"?
I've been in a few states that had Bar & Grills offering fried bologna sandwiches. Fired salami is also fantastic; it can be cooked up just like thin, crispy bacon! 🙂 👍
why Chris, was the salami fired? attempting to usurp the bologna?
Chris, it usually starts out as the BIG bologna grocery stores sell in the meat department. Then after the seasonings and/or rub is applied, it can be smoked or cooked normally on the grille; slathered regularly with one's favorite sauce:
as a fat kid who perspired to one day become a fat adult, picture #3 is as good a representative of my annual,by request, birthday dinner, as we`re likely to come across here
@john-barry OMG!! Wire Paladin has really pulled out the heavy artillery for this puree putdown. I can just imagine the size of the pearl horse's head mounted on that gat.
@john-barry Good call JayBee....this offering is absolutely top notch; the international cachet and nutritional value of the dip/spread made from pureed French bison seals the deal. I never even realized they had bison in France; or a bison blender for that matter.
@jkuvakas OH YEAH!! I COMPLETELY forgot about that and remarked then, that I'd never heard of this. Thanks John!
I am a Grubhub & Door Dash client and Gold Belly member... There must be a way! 🤔 😏
Two quick questions Chris....do you have to be morbidly obese to be Gold Belly member and do you have to be a currently serving or retired pirate to apply?
