Low parts count kit but quite OK really. My first real go at bare metal foil on the wipers, door handles and window trim. Ah! wow its hard! Hopefully I'll get better at it. Although to be honest ever a less than perfect effort is better than none with BMF use. Done properly it makes a big difference. The pics show that I need to touch up the blackwash on the grill.
The kit model is to be a pair with FMs convertible, but again the 1/24, 1/25 difference does show up. Wish AMT would use First Gears measuring instruments!
Looks pretty darn good to me! I had a 1:1 and the fidelity and your build looks great!

Geoff, the KEY to BMF:
1) Make sure the surface is clean & dry.
2) Use Q-tips, firm brushes, fingers, "whatever" to ensure good contact to reveal surface detail.
3) Use the sharpest X-acto-blade known to God. I always use NEW blades. If you're "tearing" BMF, your blade is dull - get a NEW one.
ahah so thats why that is happening, thanks Chris. I'm actually not even sure how old that blade was.3) Use the sharpest X-acto-blade known to God. I always use NEW blades. If you're "tearing" BMF, your blade is dull - get a NEW one.
All other advice was heeded, In most cases I found q tips the best, and yes surfaces were OK
Once again thanks for your instructive feedback.
And thanks too Tony
