Here is an unbelievable image showing EVERY SINGLE automobile at this outdoor wedding is a 1959 Ford vehicle ! And not only, that, they all spotless, brand-spanking new cars ! What are the chances of that ?!?

Also, an enormous boa constrictor snake is wrapping itself around the front two Fords, although they really are lovely cars and I can't say that I blame him at all ........ Roll

How cool. You have the best old ads! That's a boa all right but not the snake kind. I suppose those are the cars the singles had but now they are joined as one as the boa neck wrap symbolizes.

The boa constrictor is for the groom....to get him used to having the life squeezed out of him daily.  JUST KIDDING!....sorry, I was thinking of a previous marriage.  Lol.

The '59 Ford design has had its positive and negative comments on this Forum.  Personally I love the car.  I had a '59 Meteor (Canadian version) and really enjoyed it.  I love it in both single and 2-tone.

One of the better American and Canadian vehicles for 1959. Good comment about the boa, Jack.

here's Australia's version. I remember liking them a lot.

Australian-assembled US Fairlanes

Full-size Fairlane (1959–1962)

1960–1961 Ford Fairlane 500 sedan (facelift)

In September 1959, Ford Australia released three new locally-assembled models, the Fairlane 500, the lower specification Custom 300, and the Ranch Wagon.[4] They were sourced from Ford of Canada,[5] but were essentially the same as their 1959 US Ford counterparts.[4] Tooling for local manufacture had taken nearly two years and had been completed at a cost of almost £1.5 million Australian.[6]

The sedans were 9½ inches longer and 5 inches lower than the Ford Customline models which they replaced[6] and all three models featured a 204 bhp (152 kW) 332-cubic-inch (5.44 L) V8 engine.[4] The Custom 300 and Ranch Wagon was fitted with a three-speed manual transmission as standard equipment and the Fairlane 500 used a fully automatic transmission.[6][7] Wheelbase was 118".

For 1960, the range was updated with the grille and trim from the 1959 Canadian Meteor[8] and engine power was increased to 220 bhp (164 kW).[4]

@geoff-jowett

Thank you Geoff for this uniquely Australian perspective. I learned something new.
