I still have this old bill of sale my Grandparents got when they traded in their 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan hardtop sedan for a new 1955 2-tone blue 1955 Pontiac. I still remember both automobiles and I have several 1/18 diecasts of the '55 Pontiac and I have a Presidential Lincoln limousine in 1/24 from that same era from them.
Look at that outrageous price for a brand-new Pontiac sedan (that remained in the family for over 10 years). Oh well, that was a different era !
