brilliant, I'd love to have a go at dioramas that size. I gotta buy a bigger house. Thanks Rich
"Dioramas and commitments!" - That's a lot of space! 🤨 🤨
@chris It's like building an airplane in your basement. Two of my dioramas were made without a thought of how to get it out of my house when I moved. I had to completely dismantle them to do it. When I got them to their new home, I spent 3 days repairing the damage.
@rich-sufficool Funny you mention that.....
If we move again, I'm 95% sure I want/need a walkout basement. How great would it be to construct large dioramas, then simply rolled them outside for realistic sun/shade/shadow pics? I can see it now! 😏 😏 😏
It sucks that you had to "destroy then repair" two works of art, but of course you had no choice. 😮 😯 🙄
@chris The "walk out basement" is how I got it in its new residence. At least this time I didn't have to turn everything on its side again.
Hmmmm...maybe I should convert the workshop sooner, rather than later.
When we lived in the Midwest we had walkout basements, now that we live in the south we have no basements....I sure miss them.
