Here's two models that you really need a microscope to appreciate the level of detailing. I couldn't get close enough to really do macro well on them. What I can't figure out is where they got the schematics to know what all goes on in there. Here's a 1992 Williams FW 14B and a Ferrari Enzo:

Off the charts, next-level detailing no question!

We've discussed this before - these modelers must have access to numerous detailed photos and/or the real cars....  like Roger Zimmermann - crafting 1/12 replicas - he has access to museum vehicles.

Some of these modelers are just amazing and we have several Forumites in that category as well.  I could watch their work progress all day.

There were two brothers who used to post here that did all their car modeling in brass too. They were so prolific that I wondered if either had jobs.

+1 Jack! Now I'm going back to stuff up my latest 1/25 AMT kit!

I remember the work of those 2 brothers Rich. Extraordinary 1/24s from memory.

@geoff-jowett Yes, those two brothers are a "force to be reckoned with!"  Each does extremely nice work; their "fit & finish"  is above reproach!   Many years ago, I almost met Cliff, we happened to be at the same model/hobby show but didn't know it until AFTER it was over.  😣

@chris   Thank you for posting that link to the Read Brothers' work.  I guess I better start digging into the old files on TDZ.
