...also called puma, mountain lion, catamount, and panther, is a large feline native to the Americas. For centuries it inhabited North, Central, and South America, from the Yukon to Patagonia, making it the most widely distributed wild, terrestrial mammal in the Western Hemisphere, and one of the most widespread in the world.
It is an adaptable generalist species, which is most evident in its recent metamorphosis, occurring in the last century, wherein the cougar has adapted and now makes use of modern conveyances, traveling the world and expanding its hunting ground a hundred-fold. This new breed of feline is largely solitary, like its ancestors, and its activity pattern varies from diurnality (daily) and cathemerality (anytime of day or night) to crepuscularity (twilight) and nocturnality (night) and, like its ancestors, is an ambush predator. But, this cougar pursues only one type of prey, unlike its ancestors and, although a large predator, ambushes are never fatal, though when found after an incident, most ‘prey’ have appeared unable to move about for several minutes, and were blissfully content.
(I did the last photo to try for a different lighting effect. It is our 'cloudy' time of year, so natural light is not always bright enough.)
you had me there for a few lines! Those folks look great.
By the look of her, she is far too young to be officially defined as a cougar (age 40+). Even a puma is age 30-39. So I guess she must be a lynx (20-29)?
Whatever. He's a lucky boy.

Nice set-up, but I agree with Graeme - she's a bit young to be a Cougar. 😉 😉 You may not appreciate your last pic, but it's the one I prefer because it removes much of the "shinny-ness" present on your figure's cloths and that Cougar's legs.
You fabricate very decent diorama scenes! 👍 👍
